Hinduja Renewables Energy Private Limited (HREPL), set up by the global conglomerate Hinduja Group, is focused on bringing sustainable and clean energy to India.

Built on the time-tested business legacy of the Group, this young Company, under the leadership of Shom A. Hinduja, Chairman is rapidly growing, both organically and inorganically, to become a global leader in sustainable energy. By implementing innovative business models in both the rooftop and utility segments, Hinduja Renewables has been able to achieve an operating portfolio of 270 MWp with Solar Power Plants spread across India. Headquartered in Mumbai, it aims to tap into immense growth opportunities in the private commercial and industrial rooftop, open access, and captive markets and plans to achieve a Gigawatt of installed capacity in the next few years.

With innovation as its guide, Hinduja Renewables has been at the forefront of plant operations. Its plants have constantly been providing best-in-class Plant Load Factors. Implementing modern methods of plant operations like Asset Management, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Drones, and backed by an experienced team, the Company has been able to improve the energy yield of its solar PV plants in a very short time. It has been instrumental in setting up one of India’s first few single-axis tracker projects in Rajasthan.

The Company is actively looking at opportunities in EV charging infrastructure, battery energy storage systems with battery management, green hydrogen generation, offshore wind, and other emerging technologies.
