RESCO Model

RESCO MODEL

RESCO (Renewable Energy Services/Supply Company) Model revolves around the pay- as-you-save from solar energy. RESCO Model is also called the BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) Model. Hinduja Renewables has expertise in building projects under the RESCO Model. The consumer has to execute a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a period ranging from 15 to 25 years.

Open Access Model

OPEN ACCESS MODEL

Open Access Model makes use of the open-access program of the state discoms which allows the solar power producer to sell solar energy at a remote location from the solar plant by using the Distribution Company (Discom) electricity grid infrastructure. A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is signed with the consumer to supply power through this model. The meter reading and billing units here are approved by the State Discom.

GROUP CAPTIVE MODEL

GROUP CAPTIVE MODEL

In the Group Captive Scheme, Hinduja Renewables will develop a solar plant to feed solar energy to multiple consumer locations in the same state. The consumer here needs to maintain 26% equity in the Special Purpose Vehicle created for this project and consume at least 51% of electricity from the project. This model is an extension of the Open Access Policy. This project is executed through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA).

Chairman’s Message

Mr. Shom A. Hinduja

The growing global demand for energy has placed unprecedented pressure on our planet’s finite natural resources. The way energy is generated and consumed today has led every nation, from the most advanced to the emerging, to face the drastic effects of climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions are rising at an alarming rate, and global warming is causing long-lasting irreversible consequences. The need for collective action has never been greater. It’s time every country and every corporation becomes ecologically sensitive to meet its energy demands.

In this reality, it is essential to find ways to generate power in a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable manner and in integrating renewable energy into end-use applications in buildings, transport, and industry.

The 2016 Paris Climate Change Agreement was a groundbreaking achievement in this direction, with 195 countries committing to limit the increase in global temperatures. In line with the same, companies across the globe are joining RE-100 and EV-100 initiatives. Hinduja Renewables wants to be the bridge for nations and companies to achieve their sustainability targets. In pursuit of the same, Hinduja Renewables is a responsible renewable energy company with a vision to be a leader in creating a positive impact on humanity and the environment by providing sustainable energy and mobility solutions.
